We developed an enterprise MES dashboard and reporting system in Ignition to connect the client's existing disparate local site servers, each with their own Ignition and Sepasoft MES solutions from various other integrators. The system needed to be mobile-responsive, so we built it in Ignition with the Perspective module, which allows for visualizing a system in a web browser or mobile device rather than a traditional standalone desktop application. I devised the Web API that would be used to transfer data between the central enterprise server and each of the 5+ local site servers and MES databases in SQL Server. I also devised the CSS styling that was to be the frame for the front end of the application, as well as the initial screen designs and some of the tabular data filtering/grouping with Python. We designed and implemented screens for: 1. Area Overview 2. Line Overview 3. Line KPI Comparison 4. Downtime Dashboard 5. Production Dashboard 6. Line Utilization Dashboard 7. Line Detail Screen I was brought onto the project as an additional resource due to time constraints on the main two resources. The project was extremely fast-paced, and caused some problems with my other 4 other projects and a lot of overtime, but it was accomplished through much perseverance!
